Other shows include tribute shows with the music of Take That on Monday 21 August and Abba’s on Sat 26th. The popular GIB SHOWTIME which celebrates young local talent and gives a platform for children of all ages to perform on stage will be on Sunday 20th August whilst the Paul Riley Big Band will perform on Tuesday 22nd August. Musicians include members of Soul Mates, Calpe Band, and retired members of Gibraltar Regiment Band and Symphony Orchestra.
Entry to the Pavilion is Free on all nights and a Full bar and food service will be available.
A Spokesman for Stage One said: “The Family Pavilion is a central gathering point for families and friends during fair week to chat, enjoy drinks and food, experience a range of local and international shows and even to dance the night away. Our team continues to work hard to deliver the highest standards and we hope to see as many people as possible once again this year.”
Stage One said: “Our team is working hard to put together a fantastic experience for the nine nights of the fair. We are moving venue to Naval Ground and working with the SDGG closely to make sure we can deliver the best to our community”.
A full bar service, including the Gin Bar section and revamped kitchen service with further improved menu will be on offer. Stage One says the menu this year is based on popular trends and surveys from 2015/2016.
